movie: Red

Frank Moses (Bruce Willis) seems to have a boring life. He retired from his job at the CIA, and his days are mundane. His happiest moments are spent on the phone with his pension caseworker, Sarah (Mary-Louise Parker of Weeds). His quiet life is interrupted when a team of assassins breaks into his house and tries to take him out.

He is forced to run, save Sarah from the people who are hunting him, and ends up reassembling his old CIA team. The other members are also being targeted for the same reason he is.

The cast in this movie is to die for: Bruce Willis, Mary-Louise Parker, Morgan Freeman, Helen Mirren, John Malkovich, Richard Dreyfuss. Crazy awesome! The action was pretty much non-stop. There was a very A-Team vibe, the banter and the love and the drama, past and present in the story.

I love it when older people kick ass. That’s the best.

Red is very entertaining. Honestly, I wouldn’t mind watching it again.
