We heard that this movie sucked. We heard the humor was too dry, and the only funny parts were shown on the trailer.

Dinner for Schmucks stars Paul Rudd as an uptight corporate guy named Tim and Steve Carrell as a taxidermist named Barry.
Tim works for a corporation full of jerks. He is on his way up the ladder when he’s invited to a dinner to which each guest brings the most “extraordinary” person they can find. Basically, the corporation jerks invite the people to dinner to make fun of them.
The movie is both bizarre and hilarious. The humor is not dry. In fact, it is the complete opposite of dry. Barry is clueless about certain aspects of life , as many of the characters that Steve Carrell plays are. Paul Rudd is cute as a button as always. The supporting characters in this movie are just as interesting and colorful as the main characters. This one gets a major A.
